I’m not sure if I’m answering the question correctly, but “Give me a Sign,” has always had a special place in my heart ever since I first heard it. My girlfriend and I had lost two people in our lives and we still haven’t come to terms with it – well, it still hurts to think about their not being here. When I first heard it, I automatically loved it. I got pictures of my little cousin, who passed away, and I started listening to it on a loop until I learned the lyrics. I hear the song at least once every day – it just reminds me of my cousin and how much I miss her. ESMZ man – they can have that effect on you.
Om Nashi Me has become a mantra for me. I’m still not sure what it means but mantras are about the vibrations they create and this works for me. That, the beautiful little flute stabs, the big horns towards the end and Jades words “and I love you forever” makes for a magic journey. The best outro to any album
I’ve listened to ESMZ almost on a daily basis since around 2011(when I listened to up from below for the first time) whether it be on my stereo or singing to myself in my mind. I can honestly say they make the most inspirational music that really makes me feel happy and whole. If I’m feeling down or just had a long day at work, their words and music brings me right back up. I can’t wait to finally make it to their show next wednesday !!

Up From Below. When I was watching the Big Easy Express DVD, I felt so moved when that song came on. It’s such an amazing tune.
