New Orleans-native crash performed Motion Animal Wednesday on CBS’ Late Show With David Letterman. Afterwards, Letterman, who is planning on retiring from CBS next year, commented: “I got to tell you something. That’s like being in church, right?”

Crash was joined by fellow Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros bandmates Mark Noseworthy, Mitchell Yoshida, Seth Ford-Young, Stewart Cole, Nico Aglietti and Josh Collazo. Crash recently released his new debut solo album, “Hardly Criminal,” which was produced and engineered by Noseworthy.
